• 0:06: Today, I'm going to show you how you can keep your houseplants dust-free.
• 0:12: Dust build-up can have a lot of negative impact on your plant.
• 0:17: It's much more difficult to absorb sunlight.
• 0:21: So we want to keep our plants nice and clean.
• 0:23: First, we're going to grab a microfibre cloth
• 0:26: and dry-wash all the dust off.
• 0:48: Look at all the dust on there.
• 0:50: The leaves are nice and clean now.
• 0:53: But, we're going to use some water too.
• 0:56: This plant is a little bit big, so we're going to do this in the shower.
• 1:00: Make sure the water is not too cold or too hot.
• 1:04: Just a nice, neutral room temperature is fine.
• 1:28: We use the (clean) microfibre cloth to dry the leaves.
• 1:36: Look at how clean they are.
• 1:38: No more dust on there, which is exactly what we wanted.
• 1:47: Now, we're going to spray it with a neem oil mixture...
• 1:50: To keep pests at bay and to give the plant a nice shine.
• 1:56: Make sure to also cover the front and back of the leaf.
• 2:00: Now we're done and let it dry for about an hour...
• 2:03: before we can move it back to its normal spot.
